Elle est d\u00e9limit\u00e9e par une ou deux membranes et une paroi de peptidoglycanes. Son cytoplasme est souvent peu compartiment\u00e9.<\/p><p>Les cellules poss\u00e8dent un squelette interne dynamique : le cytosquelette. Chez les cellules eucaryotes, il est constitu\u00e9 de trois cat\u00e9gories de structures prot\u00e9iques fibrillaires : les microfilaments d\u2019actine, les microtubules de tubuline et les filaments interm\u00e9diaires.<\/p><p>Le cytosquelette des bact\u00e9ries pr\u00e9sente des prot\u00e9ines homologues \u00e0 celui des cellules eucaryotes.<\/p><p>Les cellules sont travers\u00e9es par des flux de mati\u00e8re, d\u2019\u00e9nergie et d\u2019information. Chez les Eucaryotes, une partie de ces flux transite par la membrane plasmique ou les syst\u00e8mes endomembranaires.
