C\u2019est un processus avec un faible taux d\u2019erreur qui assure la conservation globale de l\u2019information g\u00e9n\u00e9tique.<\/p><p>Les connaissances sur les ADN polym\u00e9rases ont permis d&#8217;\u00e9laborer des m\u00e9thodes d&#8217;amplification <em>in vitro <\/em>de l&#8217;ADN.<\/p><p>Le cycle cellulaire des cellules eucaryotes comprend une interphase et une mitose. Le mat\u00e9riel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique est dupliqu\u00e9 pendant la phase S (r\u00e9plication). Le mat\u00e9riel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique est r\u00e9parti \u00e9quitablement entre les 2 cellules filles au cours de la phase M. Le cycle cellulaire est contr\u00f4l\u00e9.<\/p><p>Le passage d\u2019une \u00e9tape \u00e0 une autre est sous le contr\u00f4le de signaux extracellulaires et de facteurs internes notamment li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de l\u2019information g\u00e9n\u00e9tique.<\/p><p>Les chromosomes r\u00e9pliqu\u00e9s, \u00e0 2 chromatides, se condensent progressivement au cours des prophases de mitose et de m\u00e9iose I.<\/p><p>Le processus mitotique assure une \u00e9gale r\u00e9partition des chromosomes entre les deux cellules-filles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019intervention de prot\u00e9ines (notamment du cytosquelette). La cytocin\u00e8se permet la s\u00e9paration des deux cellules filles.<\/p><p>La m\u00e9iose est une s\u00e9rie de deux divisions successives pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e par une interphase. Elle permet de passer d&#8217;une phase diplo\u00efde \u00e0 une phase haplo\u00efde.
